A Glow Discovery That Began From Within

6-Year Korean Red Ginseng

Though Jenny had always associated ginseng with traditional wellness tonics, curiosity led her to try 6-year aged Korean red ginseng, the most potent and extensively studied grade.

The results were immediate and undeniable.

Her skin felt calmer, brighter, and more resilient in a way no topical routine had ever achieved.

“That’s when I realized that true skin wellness doesn’t begin on the surface. It begins from within.” Jenny shares.

But almost as quickly, another problem became clear.

A Powerful Ingredient With a Modern Problem

Bitter. Impractical.

Despite its benefits, high-quality aged ginseng wasn’t designed for modern daily life.

It was bitter, medicinal and inconvenient.

And often positioned for older users — not modern beauty consumers.

“The results were amazing but I hated the taste. And I knew that if I couldn’t take it consistently, most people wouldn’t either.” Jenny recalled.

That frustration became the starting point for SSUNSU.

Reimagining Ginseng for Everyday Beauty

The Start of Ssunsu

Jenny asked a simple question:

What if ginseng could be taken daily in a joyful, effortless, and consistent way?

The answer became a category-defining idea.

SSUNSU launched the world’s first Korean Ginseng Beauty Jelly, formulated with 6-year aged Korean red ginseng, hyaluronic acid, collagen, and glutathione.

And with refreshing Jeju citrus, the jelly transformed a bitter ingredient into a daily ritual people genuinely enjoyed. Chilled, frozen, or straight from the pack.

What began as a supplement quickly became a daily moment of care.

The response was overwhelming, with over 420,000 sold.

Today, SSUNSU’s skincare line includes a cleanser, toner, serum, moisturiser, and sunscreen. Each carefully formulated to work with the skin, not against it.

In a deliberate formulation decision, SSUNSU replaced ordinary purified water, the base of most skincare, with ginseng-derived water systems, adding purpose and intent to every formula.

Fermented ginseng and thoughtfully selected active pairings are used to enhance ginseng’s natural benefits, while maintaining balance and skin compatibility.
